Spelling Patterns



Have you ever noticed that some combinations of letters are very common in English, while others are very uncommon?  For example, you can find lots of word that end with the letters "ck" - clock, rack, trick, etc.  Can you think of any words that start with "ck?"  Not so easy, huh?  Fourth graders are learning to recognize various spelling patterns.
