Read Across America

Today is Theodor Geisel's birthday.  Mr. Geisel is better know under his pen name of Dr. Seuss.  One of the most beloved children's authors of all time, Dr. Seuss wrote dozens of books, and his books have sold more than 600 million copies around the world.  We celebrate this day as Read Across America Day.

Today is a day for kids to have fun,
We love to read, we love it a  ton.

The kids here at Rio all read a lot,
We'd rather read books than sail in a yacht!
